This summer, Annabelle has launched two gorgeous palettes, including the Annabelle Multi-Blush Palette in Fresh Pink ($11.95 CAD). The other palette has the same design, but is a bronzer (and I totally want to get my hands on it too). This palette contains 5 different shades of blush (with a cute embossed butterfly design) that blend together beautifully to create a gorgeous, soft pink blush.
The palette is quite large- this blush will seriously last a long time. It’s definitely not the most pigmented blush I’ve ever tried though, with some of the shades being more pigmented than others). The colors are unequally distributed, and it’s really not easy to use them individually, so I definitely recommend just swirling a blush brush over all the shades and blending them into one beautiful pink.
This blush required a bit more layering than I’m used to with such bright colors, but I actually don’t mind that because I find that it is a little more fool proof. You can grab the lightest shades at the bottom of the palette and use them as an all-over highlighter too! The texture results in a satin, natural-looking glow.
It didn’t look chalky, and the resulting glow was really beautiful. It didn’t last throughout the entire day, so touch-ups would be required if you’re planning on going from morning to night. The palette comes with a little brush inside which is nice for on-the-go touch-ups, but it’s lacking and interior mirror which I would have liked to see.
Not one of my favorites, but the cute design and beautiful colors will definitely have me reaching for it this summer.
