Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Purely Nourishing Cream

Published On December 3, 2011 | Daily Beauty

I know Winter is coming when my skin suddenly goes from normal with the occasional oil slick at 3pm to desert dry, dehydrated and parched skin all day long. Since I changed my skincare routine to the Bare Escentuals skincare line, I decided to try their bareMinerals Purely Nourishing Cream ($28 USD / $35 CDN) which is their most hydrating, thick and rich moisturizer. I’m so in love with it! Right now, it’s the only thing that is keeping my skin comfortable, happy and hydrated.  So if you’re looking to add some extra hydration to your routine with the cold winter months creeping up on us- give this one a go!

I would really love to try out this line! Although I have combination skin, some of my skin is so dry and itchy that I almost don’t care if a thick cream makes the rest of my face a little oily, just because I want the moisture back in!

Hope in A Jar does it for me in the winter! Have you tried it? I wonder how it would compare to this.

wow, that’s a long ingredient list! I could do without the lavendar oil, and I’m not buying the “RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex” powers, but still, I bet this stuff feels great on dry skin! Pretty much anything w/ Squalane that high on the ingredient list gets a ++ from me!

    Pity for Dimethicone :(

I just got this in the mail (purchased from Sephora) today and used it for the first time. NO MORE DRY CHEEKS! woo hoo!! It smells lovely (kinda citrusy?) and so far it hasn’t irritated my dry pissed of cheeks! It doesn’t make my tzone oily so I’m happy so far!
