These highlight powders are a part of bareMinerals’ fabulous READY collection- a line of pressed mineral makeup that still maintains the same integrity and quality of the original makeup from the brand. Unlike the new READY foundations, bronzers, blushes and eyeshadows- these highlighters are limited edition so be sure to grab one soon (I have a feeling they will be making a reappearance though… they are too good to say good-bye to forever).

The shades include The Love Affair, a soft pink-based champagne, as well as The Shining Moment, a warm golden champagne shade. Both shades are universally flattering, and I think that the rest of your makeup really dictates which shade you should reach for, but in general I found The Love Affair to be a little more flattering with the most looks.

These luminizers come in the signature bareMinerals READY packaging, however this are a special white compact instead of the usual black. The powder has a gorgeous embossed sculpture, and their is a convenient interior mirror as well.

The powder is so silky, you might think it was a cream at first! The formula is so finely milled that there’s no visible shimmer or glitter chunks… it really blends so smoothly into your skin and gives you a lit-from-within glow (no disco ball look here). For instant cheekbones and a youthful glow, these powders are basically “model in a compact”.

I prefer to use a small blush brush to apply the product to the tops of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose for a soft glow- but you can also use it to highlight your brow bone, cupids bow, chin and even decollate, shoulders and arms. It’s seriously addictive- you’re just want to glow like J.Lo everywhere.

They do tend to wear off a little easier than the other bareMinerals READY products I’ve tried… but certainly lasts longer than any other highlighter I’ve tried. Dare I say these highlight powders have stolen the HG title as my favorite powder highlighter? Yes… yes they have.
