Bobbi Brown regularly comes out with absolutely adorable full-face palettes; ones that contain everything you need for eyes, lips and cheeks (which usually can also be used to create several different looks too)- but I have never come across a Bobbi Brown face palette that I want more strongly than these two!

These are the Pretty Powerful Palettes ($60 USD each), and they each contain 4 eyeshadows, 2 lipglosses, 1 lip color and 1 blush.  Both palettes play up soft neutrals and pinks for a gorgeous, polished look (one looks more subtle and the other, more classic)

I really want both of these palettes, but if I had to choose just one I would go for this one, the Pretty Face Palette ($60 USD).  This palette has a more romantic feel to it, with hints of roses and chocolates (I think of Valentine’s day when I look at this palette, which may be both a good present OR to wear for your date)!  The colors look very wearable and pretty, something that could create a “first date” kind of look, or even just an everyday one for the office too!

The Powerful Face Palette ($60 USD) is still wearable and elegant, but plays up more of a neutral eye with a statement lip (I see some berry tones and keep pinks that will pack a punch).  The eyeshadows look gorgeous and classically neutral (I think i would like these eyeshadows with the lip & cheek products from the other palette)!  Finishing off with a berry blush, this palette looks like a classic, evening look to a fancy restaurant or party.

Final Thoughts

I’m happy to see that they don’t come with any brushes….because I usually prefer to use my own anyways, and all that does is jack up the price even more.  I think these palettes are definitely must haves for the winter/spring season…perhaps even as a nice Valentine’s day gift to yourself (or leave a hint somewhere for someone else!)

Ideally, I’d have both of these palettes in my hands as soon as I could….but since they are a little more luxurious ($60 each!) I think I’ll settle for just one and go with the Pretty Face palette.  Hopefully you’ll see a review on it here soon!
