Benefit Bold Is Beautiful Project

Benefit Cosmetics has always been about empowering women with a feel-good approach to beauty. The Bold Is Beautiful Project pledges to donate every dollar from brow wax services in the month of May to charities that empower women.

Last year, the project launched in the US, UK, France and Australia and raised over $2.9 million US dollars from waxing over 170,000 brows. The entire amount of money was donated to 11 charity partners (each country was able to choose their own charities to support). This year, the project is expanding to include Ireland, Singapore, Spain, UAE and Canada to create an even bolder impact.

Benefit Bold Is Beautiful Project

In Canada, Benefit has pledged to support Look Good Feel Better, an organization dedicated to improving the self-esteem of women undergoing cancer treatment, and Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program, which fosters courage and confidence among women who gather to build houses for those in need.

In the USA, Benefit has pledged to support Dress For Success, an organization that provides professional attire to help women thrive in work and life; Step Up, which helps teen girls from low-income communities to become more confident whether their are college-bound or preparing for a career; Girl Develop It, a program to provide affordable programs to girls who want to learn about web development; and Girls Inc, an organization that helps provide girls with the right tools and support to succeed in achieving goals, confronting challenges and in school.
