If you read our geeking-out post about Benefit’s latest additions to their boxed powder line, you might have come to realize we’re just a tad obsessed. But collecting these beauties can be a tad pricey. So, nothing appeals to our inner fangirl more than when the playful brand launches their combo kits—always great value for some of our favourite products.
That’s why we’re so excited about Benefit Cheek Parade, a new collection of five full-sized cheek powders. The palette comes with the standard boxed powder brush and an extra large mirror, making it great for travel too.
Considering the individual powders sell for $38 each, paying $78 for five is a pretty sweet deal, especially if you’re intrigued by the new Hoola Lite (a lighter shade of the top-selling Hoola bronzer) and GALifornia (the gorgeous bright pink with a touch of gold), which are both included in the mix (you can read our full review of them here).
Joining the newbies are oldies—but goodies—Hoola (the iconic bronzer), Dandelion (soft pink blush) and Rockateur (shimmery mauve blush). We’re a tad puzzled why Benefit decided to include Rockateur instead of the newly-launched Dandelion Twinkle, but hey—it’s a gorgeous blush too so we’re not complaining.
Hoola and Hoola Lite are both neutral enough to double as contour (in fact, Hoola Lite works great for an all-over hint of color while the OG shade sculpts and shapes beautifully).
The range of pink tones can take you through the seasons (we prefer Dandelion in the winter, while we’re ready to rock GALifornia come summer), or you can mix and match them to try your hand at the draping trend. Either way, this palette delivers tons of versatility without breaking the bank.
Benefit Cheek Parade retails for $78 and is available at sephora.ca.
