The Benefit She’s So… Jetset! ($36 USD / $40 CAD) is an adorable palette (so “Benefit”-esque) including a variety of products for a complete look, as a part of the Benefit Holiday 2012 Collection. The set features a mini primer, four eyeshadows, a duo-tone face powder, lipgloss and mascara- start to finish in a single box! This limited-edition collection is now available at Sephora.
I’ve been hopelessly addicted to these cute palettes that Benefit releases several times a year- whether it’s complete with mini sizes of their best-sellers, or if it includes exclusive products such as the eyeshadows and face powder in this palette- I just have to have them. Collectable, cute and totally giftable for the holidays!
The palette itself is fairly large, about the size of my hand when stretched out. Theres a large mirror on the interior lid which is great for traveling (as the palette encourages by its name). It is a tad bulky, but with everything that comes inside, you won’t have to pack much else.
I’m so happy to see a mini The Porefessional in this kit- a great face primer before makeup, or pore eraser afterwards! It mattifies, smoothes skin and makes you look airbrushed…it’s really an amazing product from them!
The mini Eyeshadow Palette includes four shades (all in one pan), including a light champagne, a light gold, a mid-tone taupe and a deep chocolate brown. They are each really beautifully pigmented, but my problem with them is that they are all the same texture, which really doesn’t leave much room for variety. I would use 1-2 shades to create a look on my lid only, because I prefer to use a mixture of mattes and shimmers together for a balanced look. The palette does come with a dual-sided sponge-tip applicator as well for the eyeshadows.
Moving along- next in the palette is the First Class Face Powder; a duo-tone luminous face powder which includes a pale champagne side (great as a highlighter) and a baby pink side (perfect for blush). You can mix them together for a gorgeous, glowing complexion enhancer, which is my favorite way to apply it (with the included brush, of course). It’s not very pigmented, so I would recommend using it to top off your regular blush for a little added glow.
Continuing along our journey across the palette, we find the Life On The A List Lipgloss- a gorgeous, pearlescent baby pink gloss. It smells similar to the Ultra Plush Lip glosses, and has a similar texture and feel on the lips. Not sticky, but still has a bit of substance. It has a brush-tip applicator which I do prefer as I find I can be a little more precise with it.
Lastly, our trip comes to an end with a deluxe-sized mini They’re Real Mascara… one of my favorites from the brand! This mascara gives insane volume, length and lift… plus it’s super black too. I love the fact the brush is the same size as the full-size mascara, even though the tube is much smaller… it gives the same feel and effect as you would get from using the full size product.
I think it’s a cute palette- not the best i’ve seen from Benefit, but an adorable (and handy) travel buddy!

Swatches (L-R): The Porefessional, First Class Face Powder (champagne side on left, pink side on right) & Life On The A-List Lipgloss
Summary
- Price: $36 USD / $40 CAD
- Availability: Sephora
- Overall: A cute combination palette from Benefit- similar to ones we see around the holidays each year. The primer, mascara and lipgloss are all fantastic! The eyeshadows are beautiful, neutral shades… but I wish they had a little more variety in texture. The face powder is also gorgeous and gives a nice glow, but it’s not too pigmented so you might need to use it as a highlighter or luminescent enhancer over your regular blush.
