After years of battling extremely oily skin, my complexion has finally started to “normalize” (at 23 years old, it’s about darn time).  However, one side effect of oily skin is enlarged pores that simply like to stick around for years afterwards (aging doesn’t really do them any favours either).  I love having this product on hand for times where they are quite visible (usually with powder foundation or any type of “illuminating” product). It works wonders, and the results are instant (Check out the before and after pictures below if you aren’t convinced by the video demo).

While it can be used before makeup for a texture-perfecting base, I prefer to tap mine on top of makeup as I find it gives a more dramatic result.  You can also use it alone on no-makeup days to give an airbrushed finish, and the light peach tint helps to even out skin tone too.

My only problem with this product is that the effect isn’t very long lasting- if you really want the results then you may have to touch up a couple times throughout the day (which isn’t a problem functionally, the balm works great for touch-ups on top of makeup, it is more of a convenience thing).  However if pores are your problem, this is definitely your solution.
