Last year, Bite Beauty sparked an amazing charitable initiative to help support Movember—the movement where men grow moustaches in hopes of raising awareness and funds for men’s health programs that support those affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues.
Susanne Langmuir, the founder of Bite Beauty, was inspired by her own father’s winning battle with prostate cancer and wanted to go beyond cheering and patting our fellow men on the back when it came to supporting the cause. She created a limited-edition mauve lipstick, cleverly named Mauvember, for which all proceeds were donated to The Movember Foundation.
This year, Bite Beauty is continuing with the initiative and has launched a special-edition Amuse Bouche Lipstick, once again named Mauvember. The 100% natural lipstick delivers ultra-hydrating, high-impact color in a beautiful mauve shade.
The 2016 version is slightly different from last year’s—it is slightly warmer, has a cute moustache engraved right into the bullet (as well as “2016” on the opposite side) and as I mentioned, features the new Amuse Bouche formula (as opposed to last year’s Luminous Crème formula). Also, Bite Beauty has expanded the launch into the USA this year too—something I know many of you are going to be very excited about!
I think this initiative is a great way for women to get involved in supporting the men in their lives and bringing even more attention to men’s health during Movember. So, get ready to sport mauve this month and feel even better about treating yourself to a beautiful new lipstick.
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Mauvember retails for $26 and will be available online at sephora.com.shop this story
