A Look At The New BITE Beauty Multisticks

BITE Beauty Multisticks

For the first time, BITE Beauty is taking a (tiny) step away from lipstick. This August, the brand is launching a new multi-tasking cream stick for lips, cheeks and eyes—say hello to BITE Beauty Multisticks.

The new formula will come in 18 gorgeous shades and each can be used as a cream blush, a rich lipstick or even as a soft eyeshadow. They apply like a cream but wear like a powder for a lightweight, long-wearing result.

Multisticks are silicone-free and in typcial BITE Beauty fashion, are made with natural, food-grade ingredients that are good enough to eat (and with shade names like Gelato, Biscotti and Brioche, you’re going to have to try extra hard not to).

The shades include a few bright colors but really focus on wearable neutrals, from light to dark. The packaging reminds me of the brand’s Butter Cream Lipstick, with a magnetic tube and flat-top bullet. They all have a soft, matte finish which creates a flattering, monochromatic look.

Your best tool with these babies? Your very own fingers, which help to melt the product as you blend it into the skin. Because they are so small and multi-use, they are great for travel or keeping in your purse for touch-ups.

For lips, they really feel like a matte lipstick. They have a velvety texture that doesn’t feel uncomfortable, but it’s definitely on the drier side. They drag a tiny bit the first time you use them, but as your body temperature warms them up, they glide one really nicely with a creamy texture. They are okayyyyy as an eyeshadow—as a soft sweep of sheer color on top of an eye primer, most of the shades look quite nice.

The main reason I love these babies is for how gorgeous they look on the cheeks. They are super pigmented and blend easily into the skin—just use your finger to pick up the product then blend it into cheeks because you’ll get way too much product if you apply directly to the skin.

While it may not be a complete departure from the lip product world, it gives me hope that maybe BITE Beauty will consider launching other makeup products in the future!

BITE Beauty Multisticks retail for $24 each and will be available mid-August at Sephora.
