The Chanel Superstition de Chanel Collection for Fall 2013 introduces Le Blush Crème de Chanel ($38 USD / $43 CAD), a brand now cream blush formula available in six, luminous shades. This limited-edition collection mixes sumptuous tones of bronze, taupe and khaki with the magic of a golden beige, intense pink or burgundy palette. Available online now and on counters August 2013.
These new cream blushes come in a slim, simplistic black lacquered Chanel case with an interior mirror. It’s almost hard to tell that the product is a cream until you touch it, as it looks like a powder! All six shades will be added to the permanent product line-up as well- so that’s great news for cream blush lovers. The shade range includes a variety of pink and coral tones, including the one apricot-hued shade I have here in Présage.
The formula is incredible- gone are the days of thick, sticky and greasy cream blushes. This one is so refined, silky and weightless. The texture is definitely a cream, but blends like a light-as-air mousse. Designed to be applied with the fingers, it’s effortless, fool-proof and extremely blendable. What I love so much about this formula is how it doesn’t go on patchy- which is a problem I experience a lot with cream blushes.
It has a soft glow to it- no shimmer, but a very natural, healthy-looking luminosity to it. The pigmentation is incredible as well- a little goes a long way! At the same time, it applies with a soft transluscence to skin. It’s pretty much undetectable and gives a beautiful lit-from-within glow. It is formulated for all skin types, however I can only speak for my own combination skin when I say that it feels comfortable and lasts the majority of the day on me. It is so light though, I can see it feeling greasy at all to those with oily skin.
A fantastic new addition to the Chanel line-up!
