Juno Awards 2012 Weekend

Happy Easter Weekend everyone! I wanted to post about the awesome time I had last weekend, because the Juno Awards were in town! For those of you that don’t know what the Juno Awards are, they are similar to the American Music Awards, only these are for Canadian artists!

I was invited to kick off the weekend at the RW&Co Pre-Junos Styling Event, which was held in a gorgeous hotel suite in the heart of downtown where we got to sip cocktails and chat with celebrities as they came through to check out the latest fashions from the brand.  It was quite fun, and some great Canadian talent passed through like Simple Plan, Carly Rae Jepsen, JRDN, Mia Martina, Blue Rodeo and more!  Carly snagged the gorgeous Maxi dress I was eyeing and there were three gorgeous dresses (all the same style, just different colors) that I cannot wait to find in stores- they are perfect for summer! On Sunday I was able to attend the Juno Awards courtesy of Elle Canada, and the seats were amazing! Right in front of the presenter’s stage. I didn’t take many photos- and they ones I did take are quite fuzzy from my iPhone, but hopefully if you are in Canada you were able to catch the show. I had a fun time- although I wish a few more of Canada’s top celebrities would have been there (Michael Bublé and Justin Bieber… I wish they could have been there). It was great to see the performances and just be able to attend an awards show!

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend! I’m now off to tidy my apartment and organize my makeup (a constant project…haha)!
