Milani Crystal Eyez Sparkling Eye Shadow in Lovely and Luminous

I really wanted to love this Milani Crystal Eyez Sparkling Eyeshadow in Lovely & Luminous ($7.49 USD)… this gel-based glitter eyeshadow promised a dazzling finish, long-lasting wear, and that it would do the dishes for eternity (ok maybe I was dreaming for that last part).  Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations.  It was too sticky and very patchy.  I did find a good use for it though- the stickiness makes a fantastic base for packing on more glitter on top!

      I think that it depends how you’re using them. I really like them as a sticky base for more glitter. Alone, they are very sheer.

    sounds like they’d be fun for a party or something! i’d think if you took the right steps, they wouldn’t crease horribly or quickly for that matter

    Well i bought them and use them over my eyeshadow and the glitter really shows alot and makes my eyes pop. I tried using them alone but they were really sheer. So use them on top of your shadow and actually they do make the shadow last longer plus the glitter doesn’t fall off and stays put.
