It’s hard to believe that the year is almost over… it’s so easy to get caught up in all of the holiday collections and gift sets coming out! I’ve been testing out new products like crazy, so I thought I’d share some of my favorites for the season.
I’ll be putting together a lot of great gift guides for the holiday season, but first, here are a few of my personal favourites that have made their way into my makeup bag.

It's hard to believe that the year is almost over... it's so easy to get caught up in all of the holiday collections and gift sets coming out! I've been testing out new products like crazy, so I thought I'd share some of my favorites for the season.

Buxom Time To Shine Lip Collection
I'm not a huge fan of lip plumpers- but these ones feel great on the lips (not painful at all)... plus I love every color in this set! Creams, shimmers and glitters, this perfectly pink gloss set has it all and the cooling sensation feels awesome.
Price: $29 USD / $35 CAD
Availability: Sephora

Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer in Metal Icon
I'm a huge fan of the Maybelline Color Show nail polish line... it's inexpensive, there's a huge range of shades and textures and the quality beats out some designer polishes that cost 10x as much!
This shade in Metal Icon is my favorite of the moment, because metallic pewter is so hot right now! This one is from their recent limited edition collection for fall, so run out and grab it before it's gone!
Price: $3.99 or less
Availability: Maybelline

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres Glossy Stain in #11 Rouge Gouache
I totally fell in love with this 2-in-1 gloss + stain all over again these past few weeks, plus I ignited a new spark with this particular shade in #11 Rouge Gouache!
I wore this color for Halloween when I dressed up as Sandy from Grease, and it was perfect. Definitely one of my favorite lip gloss formulas to date!
Price: $32 USD / $34 CAD

Too Faced Glamour To Go Spun Sugar Edition
Big things come in little packages, and this palette is the perfect example! With eight eyeshadows, bronzer, highlighter and lip gloss, this inexpensive palette packs in a lot of value.
The sugary sweet shades for eyes, lips and cheeks are perfect for creating all sorts of looks from soft & subtle to deep & dramatic. Plus- it pretty much fits in the palm of your hand.

Sephora Nail Blind in Gilded Lily
If there'sone thing I always forget to do before a big event, it's my nails. I don't know why- but it's always occurs to me that my bare nails need some bling right before I'm about to leave... so that's why I'm in love with these new bejewelled nail wraps!
This limited edition design is gorgeous, and it matches my holiday outfits so I'm stocking up on these for the holiday season! I love how I can get super glam nail art in minutes!
Price: $7 USD / $8 CAD
Availability: Sephora

Lancôme Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover
While I don't have a strong loyalty to any eye makeup remover (as long as it's an oil-based, waterproof makeup remover we can probably be friends), but I have to say I've been mighty impressed with this one lately! It's powerful stuff! This dual-phase makeup remover removes all makeup in just seconds!
I use it before washing my face, and I have no racoon eyes afterwards, it's fantastic.
Price: $27 USD / $35 CAD
Availability: Lancôme

Bobbi Brown 24 Karat Shimmer Brick
I'm a huge fan of Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Bricks... they are a bit of an addiction, but if I could only choose one- this would be it! This compact is the perfect rose gold shimmer powder, and it looks gorgeous on the skin! A sophisticated shimmer (never chunky or glittery)- this baked powder can be used on eyes or cheeks. Multi-functional and stunning!
Price: $42 USD / $50 CAD
Availability: Sephora

Philosophy The Micro Exfoliating Triple-Acid Brightening Peel
As the weather gets cooler and my skin gets drier, it starts to look a little dull. I've been on the hunt for some good exfoliating peels that will keep my skin looking radiant and healthy throughout the winter. These peel pads are the easiest at-home facial ever! The triple-acid formula dissolves dead skin and brightens the complexion at the same time for a radiant glow.
Price: $68 USD / $68 CAD for 12

Hello Kitty Wild Thing Comb
This is probably the cutest comb I've ever seen. In fact, it's probably the only cute comb I've ever seen. This adorable Hello Kitty-shaped comb (complete with bow, of course) is extremely oversized with extra large wide-tooth combs. It's perfect for detangling my mane (pun intended).
Price: $12 USD / $14 CAD

Benefit Sexy Little Stowaways
Benefit is notorious for creating the most adorably cute, irresistible holiday gift sets and this one is probably my favorite! It features 10 travel sized minis of Benefit's top-selling favourites!
This kit has all of my favorite minis all together, and the best part is that they can all fit together in a tiny clutch! Whether you're in need of some minis to stash in your purse or take away with you on a weekend getaway, this set is perfect for you! Also... two words- "stocking stuffers".
Price: $34 USD / $40 CAD
