Fall in Love: Editor’s Beauty Picks for November 2011

Halloween is over and November is here- can you believe we’re down to less than 2 months until Christmas?  Oh boy! Time to start holiday shopping… who has their wishlist made already?  I know that so far i’ve got the Kelly Moore photography bag in Mimi on my list (it’s an adorable pro-photography bag that looks like a purse)! Still thinking about what else should go on that list.  Either way, here are some things that are no longer on my wistlist because I’m totally in love with them and I want to share them with you!  Some new finds, old favourites and even one item that’s not even released yet!  I want to know what your favourites are this month!         thats great!! I wanted to like splurge on some really pigmented waterproof eyeliners… i have teary eyes and nothing holds on my waterline… I had my eye on the UD ones but now I’ll defenetly wait for these to come out

    I’m going Bare Escentuals crazy here. On my wishlist already are:
    - RSVP collection (I even hit the checkout button on their website only to realize they don’t ship to my country… Booo), I guess I’ll have to get my hands on it some other way… I mean, I can justify getting only the Minerail Veil (wiht the Naked pallete I’m pretty sure I could recreate something vvery similar on the eyes) but the packaging and everything about this collection is so lovely I just wanted to grab it first thing!
    - Bare Minerals cleanser – a recommendation from Beautezine’s Editor herself! =P
    Also I’m debating whether or not to get Philosophy Hope in a Tube (also not sold in my Sephora… Boooo, going online to see where I can get it from) or just go crazy and go all BareMinerals and try their Naturally Luminous Moisturizing Trio (Cleanser + eye cream + mosturizer)

    As for favorite Beauty Products right now:
    - Mac Blacktrack fluidline: I always go back to this during colder weather.
    - Sephora Jumbo Liner 12H Wear Waterproof in Taupe: Gives a nice champagne color to the lids and only creased when I went crazy with primer… My bad!
    - Sephora Rouge Cream Lipstick in Courtisane: a perfect red.

      Awesome wishlist…I’m so in love with the cleanser because it does a great job of removing makeup and it doesn’t irritate my skin! I love Blacktrack as well…its definitely a must-have for everyone!

    I’m really intrigued by the Bare Escentuals liners! I’m not a mineral foundation fan, so I haven’t really given the brand’s other products a try. I never apply pencil liner with out smudging it out and I’ve been finding it almost impossible to hunt down a liner that smudges nicely but stays put when I’m done…I’ll be creeping Ulta and Sephora for these!

      Oh you’ll LOVE this one then! Have you tried UD’s? That’s what I would use until I met these fine fellows….and its available now.

    clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel, and witch hazel to tone a moisturize. i have skin that stays oily most of the time but in the colder months it gets a tad dry. those two combined give me just the right amount of moisture! i’m also dying to get some of those stila sparkely liquid liners. i swatched one on my hand and it stuck there all day through multiple hand washings.

      I like that gel a lot but for summer, I don’t find it quite hydrating enough when the weather starts to get cooler…but I LOVE the texture! Thanks for sharing :)

    There’s those eyeliners, taunting me again!!! I do hope they come out individually! When you compared 5pm to UD’s perversion, I immediately added them to my wishlist. Zero just doesn’t do it for me anymore.

    MAC High Tea lipstick was my first MAC lipstick -so it holds a special place in my heart! I’m almost done with my first tube of it! Love it!

      Thanks Wendy! You have to go to a salon to get it done but for me they last a FULL 10-12 days with absolutely NO chipping whatsoever!

    Jessica, I want to try the MAC high tea or any nude or even coral pinky shades. But I have pigmented lips and it’s difficult for me to choose a shade without trying it on. Is there a shade that maybe you think could that would look good on me but my main problem is with nudes. I have a very light skin.

      I’m REALLY in love with MAC Sheen Supreme lipstick in Supremely Confident. Its a nice nude, as a slightly glossy finish and its super pigmented. Creme d’Nude is also really pigmented actually :)

    loving the new website format jessica and i love this post! my favourites right now are frankly scarlet blush from MAC, lady gaga viva glam 2 lipstick, stila kitten eyeshadow, MAC penultimate eyeliner, and MAC nylon eyeshadow! i grab for these everyday over everything else in my collection <3

    Just received “One Prime Day” with all the mini primers (yes, I’m late, I know) & I can’t wait to try it out! I barely have stuff by Benefit but I love everything I have so far. I also recently found a Shellac Nail Tech close to me so I’m really excited to try that out, I’ve only heard fantastic things about it.

      You actually have to go to a salon and get a Shellac manicure, its only available to professionals!

    I don’t like nude lipsticks, specially when they have warm undertones – they make my teeth very yellowish :(
    I prefer lipsticks in the berry and mauve tones…
