Like a trusty LBD, a go-to neutral nail polish is always good to have on hand (pun intended). Launching in May, the Essie Wild Nudes Collection is a modern take on a neutral nail colour palette, with eight creamy shades that will make your heart sing. From soft nude to muted blue to earthy green, the collection has something for everyone—no matter what kind of neutral you tend to go for.
The shades include:
- Skinny Dip: Sheer light peachy pink
- Bare With Me: Greyish apricot
- Wild Nude: Light mauve tan
- Without A Stitch: Clean light grey
- Mooning: Light muted blue
- Exposed: Mossy green
- Clothing Optional: Light sienna brown
- Winning Streak: Greyish purple
What I love most about this collection is how versatile and unique it is. Sure, you’ve got your classic nude pinks and beiges, but you also have some variety with the blue-tinged Mooning and khaki green Exposed shades too. Neutral doesn’t always have to mean nude—and this collection really shines light on how universal they can be.
All of the shades are beautifully pigmented (except for Skinny Dip, which is meant to be a sheer tint). For my light skin, I’m particularly in love with Wild Nude and Clothing Optional, but all of the shades are lovely and would definitely suit a large range of skintones.
The collection is launching right in time for summer, but it’s definitely the kind of line-up that will work all year round.
The Essie Wild Nudes nail polishes will retail for $9 each and will be available at select retailers and online at ulta.com on May 16th.
