The Spa at the Four Season in Toronto is a 30,000 square foot haven of serenity and peace. With many treatment rooms, deluxe suites for two, a hair and nail bar and possibly the most beautiful relaxation pool you’ve ever seen, a trip to the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto Spa is so much more than just a treatment—it’s an experience like no other.
Any treatment at the spa is a coveted one, but it can only be made better by the products used and when a brand like Amala comes along and curates two facials using their lineup of conscious and responsible products, spa time gets that much better. I headed over to the Spa at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto for some much-needed R&R and to experience one of Amala’s signature facials.
Facials are tricky treatments as, depending on your skin type, they can either make or break a breakout—but with a brand like Amala that uses organic plants as a base for their skincare line for the Vitamin C Brightening Facial, you know exactly what you’re getting into, which is a rejuvenated complexion and a fresh face—not to mention 60 minutes of pure relaxation.
The Vitamin C Brightening Facial takes you through all of the proper motions of a great skin treatment, starting with cleansing, exfoliating (using the lovely Clarisonic), a facial mask and finishing with a combination of brightening moisturizers. As someone who has finicky skin, I was worried leaving the treatment, but my skin was bright and revitalized for days after with blemishes visibly diminished. Vitamin C has very powerful properties when it comes to evening out skin tone and providing a luminous glow, and alongside the peptide mask to help even out complexion texture, the results were amazing.
As you’d expect with such a luxurious spa, no expense was spared and between the inviting and relaxing environment and the knowledgeable staff who walked you through the entire treatment, making on-the-fly changes depending on your skin type and preferences, this was a facial worth returning to.
