Giorgio Armani Spring 2013 Rouge d’Armani Sheer in Beige 100 Review, Photos & Swatches

The Giorgio Armani Pop Collection for Spring 2013 includes the Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani Sheer in Beige 100 ($30 USD / $38 CAD), a silky nude lipstick engraved with the Giorgio Armani logo. This limited edition collection, inspired by luminous, euphoric color on a canvas of sheer neutrals, is available February 2013 at Giorgio Armani counters!

This limited-edition sheer lipstick comes in the regular sleek black Rouge d’Armani packaging, complete with a magnetic cap (so handy when fumbling around in your purse). The lipstick is unscented and has a silky smooth texture.

This shade, Beige 100, is a neutral mid-tone nude shade (the other limited-edition shade in the collection has a more rosy undertone). The color payoff is sheer, but buildable to a medium-coverage opacity, and it has a gorgeous glossy sheen. It feels so smooth and moisturizing, like a lip balm, and the shade is a gorgeous my-lips-but-better hue… it’s like silk stockings but for your lips!

This particular shade is probably one of my favorites from the Rouge d’Armani Sheers line, just because it’s so wearable and a wide variety of skintones can definitely pull this one off. I love how Giorgio Armani included these neutral, soft lipsticks to compliment the pops of color happening in the face & eye palettes! One of the most comfortable lipsticks on the market- but at the cost of longevity. The sheer color and glossy finish keeps these lipsticks from staying on very long… but at least they are a joy to re-apply.
