Holiday 2011 Look Book: Gilded Green

Green eyeshadow isn’t always the easiest to work with, but I love how festive it looks when paired with a beautiful gold shade! Just enough shimmer and sparkle (hint: add some glitter if you really want to get creative)!     I have green eyes and hair somewhere between auburn and brown, so green tends to look good on me, but I don’t know if I’m quite brave enough to wear green eyeshadow. The closest I’ve come is a very dark green eyeliner. I really like this look though, I might have to try it.

    I like my Bobbi Brown Earth Metals palette for green en gold looks. Perhaps a bit more subtle than I previously preferred, but it still has enough shimmer in it to console me from having to tone down on all that glitters due to ‘experienced’ aka wrinkly eyelids… But it does totally compliment my hazel eyes so I still feel festive enough :D
