Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder

It has finally arrived. It’s the much-anticipated Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder ($45 USD / $52 CAD) in the shade Luminous Light, and I can’t wait to see if this luxurious powder is the answer to my wish for that flattering, candle-lit glow 24/7.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to try a powder before in my life.

OK, that brush totally does look like unicorn fur. Accurate. Can’t wait to hear how you like it!

LOL! It’s magical. I think you’re gonna love it… definitely more luminous than the NARS ones (I want to try a few others before my review to see how they compare)

There brush are nice but I’m not always swayed by the price tag. I’m looking forward to the review on the Luminous (is the Luminous the lightest one?)

They are almost all the same lightness, they vary more in undertone. This one is a champagne undertone

good to know I was interested in either Ethereal Light or Luminous Light. ;)

    Hi Jessica,
Do you own Diffused Light one? I have oily skin so I think it may be the best for me

How is it compared to the guerlain meteorites? Ive been looking into buying illuminating powders and if this one is sooo much better then i’d better grabe this one soon! And oh,my local sephora doesnt carry guerlain and hourglass so a comparison would be great! Thank you jessica’

Hey! I actually haven’t ever tried Guerlain Meteorites (shocking I know). I have a feeling that the Meteorites are a little more shimmery. This powder is…hard to describe… it’s light reflecting and yes it has shimmer, but its so fine that you can’t really tell its shimmer. It just makes the skin glow.
Hard to say… I’m going to try to pick up a few more shades of this Hourglass one to find out which one is best!
