What smells like vanilla cupcakes, feels like silk and fits in your pocket perfectly? The Hourglass Extreme Sheen Lip Glosses ($28 USD / $33 CAD), of course!

Here I have the lip gloss in shade Fortune, a beautiful peachy pink with gold shimmer.  You know when you find something you love, then you look at the price tag and have a minor panic attack? That’s how I feel about these glosses. I’m head over heels for the formula- they smell incredible, they feel like creamy silk and they have gorgeous pigmentation! They’re not sticky, yet they last a surprisingly long time… I think you understand why I’m in love with them!

The packaging is pretty interesting too- it’s long, flat and fits nicely into your pocket or clutch to keep with you when you’re on the go.  The only thing I’m not a fan of is the applicator… it looks, feels and works very similar to the bareMinerals Pretty Amazing lip colors, where the doe-foot tip is flattened and flexible- which I actually love- but I find it so hard to get the applicator back into the tube… I always feel like I’m going to break the tip off!

I know this isn’t going to be the last Hourglass gloss I’m going to get my hands on!  With twelve shades to choose from, I may be a little indecisive and get a few! The price tag is quite the killer, but I don’t mind splurging on products that I love!
