Wake up and smell the Lancôme Accord 3 Roses, a new set of body lotions coming in August 2012, formulated with three essential rose extracts for everyday skin hydration (Rosa Centifolia to soothe, Rosa Galica to protect and Rosa Canina to reinforce).  The formulas include a light and refreshing body milk, as well as a thicker body balm.

First off- if you love the scent of roses (think Benefit Benetint), you’re going to love this stuff. I smell like a bouquet of roses right now and I love it! So feminine and pretty, I’m definitely going to be slathering this stuff on daily!  The fragrance lasts quite long for a body lotion, which I really like!

The Lancôme Accord 4 Roses Lait Corps Fraîcheur Body Milk ($46 CAD) is the larger tube of the two, and slightly thinner. The body milk was designed for instant hydration and it absorbs super fast (I can apply it to my hands and get right back to typing within seconds, its quite amazing)!  The Lancôme Accord 3 Roses Baume Corps Confort Body Balm ($36 CAD) is in a smaller tube, and is slightly thicker.  The balm is meant more to renew skin and hydrate super dry skin.

In all honesty, they both feel as if they hydrate and soothe my skin equally.  The formulas are so similar, that I would just suggest picking up the body milk, because it’s much larger and the value is much better.  They smell the same, moisturize the same…so might as well get more bang for your buck!

• Overall: If you love the smell of roses, you’re going to love these lotion! They are so fresh and natural!  Available in two formulas, I really recommend the body milk over the body balm because it’s a better value and I found that the formulas were so similar.
