Step 1Using the Giorgio Armani Face & Eye Bliss Palette in No.1, apply the white satin eyeshadow all over the lid, up to the crease with a shader brush.
Step 2Using the same brush, pat on the bright blue eyeshadow onto the outer 1/2 of the eyelid, blending up into the crease.
Step 3Apply the grey eyeshadow into the crease and outer "V" with a precise, tapered brush to give depth and dimension to the look.
Step 4Use the same pencil brush to apply the grey eyeshadow to the lower lashline, from the outer corner to the center of the eye.
Step 5Apply a little more of the blue eyeshadow to the inner 1/2 of the lower lashline for an extra pop of color.
Step 6Use your favorite black eyeliner to line the upper lashline, making sure to stay as close to the base of the lashes as possible. Extend the eyeliner at the outer corner to give a cat-eye look.
Step 7Line the waterline with a white kohl pencil to create an intense brightness and really make the blue eyeshadow stand out.
Step 8Apply several coats of your favorite black mascara for thick, defined lashes. The black mascara and eyeliner makes a great contrast over the bright white and blue shades
Step 9Apply the coral pink blush from the palette to the apples of the cheeks with a soft blush brush, blending back towards the hairline and down slightly.
Step 10Finish off the look with the Giorgio Armani Rouge d'Armani Sheer in Beige 100, a gorgeous, silky nude lipstick that leaves lips with a high-shine, glossy finish.
The Giorgio Armani Pop Collection for Spring 2013 is all about washes of color on a simple, neutral canvas. I really wanted to highlight the gorgeous aqua blue in the Face & Eye Bliss Palette, as well as the bright coral cheeks (possibly my favorite part of the look). I know that a lot of people stray away from blue eyeshadow… but there are a few tricks to make it more wearable; one trick used in this look was to really make good use of the grey eyeshadow. Blending a bright pop of color into a neutral grey tone helps to make it more wearable. Also, working with brightening whites to really make the color pop that much more.
This collection is small, yet mighty. Besides eyeliner and mascara, the entire look was created with just two pieces. So pack your string bikini and get ready to be whisked away to a tropical resort… because that’s exactly how I feel, glowing with aqua eyes, coral cheeks and neutral lips.
