Step 1Using the Dior 5-Color Cherie Bow Edition Palette in Rose Ballerine, Place the pale, pink-beige shade (bottom left) all over the lid with a flat shader brush. Blend the shadow up until the crease and inner corner.
Step 2Using the same brush, apply the mid-tone rose shade (top left) to the outer half of the eyelid, blending it up into the crease.
Step 3Apply the deep taupe shade into the outer "V" of the eye with a precise, tapered brush, then blend it into the crease to give dimension.
Step 4Using a soft, fluffy brush- apply a bit of the shimmery white shade (center) to the brow bone and inner corner. If you want to really get a glittery look, dust this shade all over the lid too!
Step 5Use the cream eyeshadow end of the Dior Twin Set to line the lashline softly, concentrating the color on the outer 2/3 of the lashline to give eyes a cat-eye effect.
Step 6Curl your lashes and apply your favorite black mascara to upper and lower lashes.
Step 7Blend both shades of the Dior Diorblush Cherie Bow Edition in Pink Happiness and apply to the apples of the cheeks, blending backwards and down.
Step 8Apply the Dior Addict Lipstick in Charmante to lips for a soft whisper of color and gorgeous shine.
Step 9Finish off the look with two coats of the Dior Vernis in Gris Trianon, the perfect, sophisticated accent shade to a soft, feminine look.
Even before Christmas, I was already getting antsy to start doing Spring 2013 looks because all the collections were launching so early! Now that it’s the new year, I’m in total Spring-mode and I’m starting off with the Dior Chérie Bow Collection. I’m head over heels with this soft and pretty look- it’s totally “me”. The sweet, soft pinks paired with smoky, muted greys is so modern and sophisticated, yet feminine and chic at the same time.
You’ll also notice one of the most exciting new features this year on Beautezine- tutorials! That’s right, each Look Book will now have step-by-step instructions so you can re-create the look using the same products, or similar ones that you already own! If you have any feedback on the delivery of the tutorial and photos, please let me know. I wasn’t 100% sure how to format it, so if you think all the photos should be in the slideshow (including the final photos below), let me know! I always appreciate your feedback when implementing new features on the site… I want the experience to be the best it can for you!
