When I first saw the Shu Uemura Chocolat-Donna Collection for Fall 2012, I was in love. The warmth of the rich hues just stole my heart, and the perfect packaging made them the ultimate indulgence. I also fell just as in love with the Chocolat-Donna look, created by Shu Uemura’s international artistic director, Kakuyasu Uchiide, featuring the Orange & Pistachio Eye Shadow Palette. The orange and green hues contrasted so beautifully, and the feathery lashes just took it to a whole other level. One of my favorite artistic looks to date.
Check out the review of the eye palette, and follow along with my application technique: I applied O4 all over the lid and worked O5 into the crease. I deepened the outer corner with O6, and blended it into the lower lashline as well. I highlighted the brow bone with O3 and then concentrated O1 into the inner corner of my eye for a pop of bright, glittery orange. I finished off with a pop of pistachio green by applying O2 to the inner tear duct area and blending it out into the lower lashline. I finished off with mascara and the Choco-Lash false lashes!
