This look was inspired by the simple, yet sophisticated Giorgio Armani Easy Chic Collection for Fall 2012. I’m a total fan of small, carefully thought-out collections like this one… it just makes makeup easy. Giorgio Armani really wanted to play with textures in this collection, by taking a masculine aesthetic with elegant femininity to create a collection that was simple, beautiful and chic.
The Face & Eye Palette is really incredible- this eye look is totally wearable for the daytime, but transforms beautifully into an evening look with the swipe of a red lip. I used the beige eyeshadow all over the lid, then blended the taupe shade into the crease and finished off with a smoky line of the black eyeshadow around the rims. I dusted the face powder like a bronzer, but I concentrated it on my cheeks for some extra color. I finished off with the Rouge d’Armani lipstick in 408 for a classy, glossy red lip.
