Look Book: Éclat du Soir

Christmas is right around the corner, and even though I’ve been really busy trying to get my shopping done and finish up some things for the blog for Christmas, I couldn’t not post a holiday look. Every year I pretty much do a similar look for Christmas, and this year it fit so perfectly with the gorgeous Chanel Éclats du Soir Collection for Holiday 2012. Cranberry and gold blended together with a striking black liquid eyeliner, soft blush and sheer pink lip- this is my signature holiday look and I must say I’m incredibly pleased with how it turned out with Chanel (check out my review of the collection too)!

I started by applying the gold eyeshadow from the Chanel Regard Signé Palette in Harmonie du Soir all over the lid, and blending the cranberry shade into the outer 1/3 of the eye and crease. I applied a bit of the brown eyeshadow into the crease to add depth, and highlighted the brow bone with the pale pink shade. I used a black liquid eyeliner to line my upper lashline, then applied mascara and false lashes.  I applied a soft neutral blush to my cheeks and topped it off with a bit of the sparkling powder on my cheekbones for an added glow. I finished off the look with a sheer pink gloss and deep, cranberry red nails.
