This look was inspired by the sophisticated khaki, bold red and luxe gold hues of the Yves Saint Laurent Fall / Winter 2012 Collection! I love the promo photo- so I created a simplistic version- I love how the olive tones work with the red lips! Very autumn-appropriate, yet classy all year round.

I used the soft olive shades in the Harmony Nº 10 palette and blended them with a deeper green in the crease to create dimension. This can definitely be built up to a more dramatic look, especially if you add false lashes too.  I kept the complexion fairly pale with a hint of pink on the cheeks and gold shimmer on the cheekbones), and finished it off with a striking, bold red lip.
