Look Book: Maestro

I think that Giorgio Armani is taking the lead as my favorite luxury makeup brand now. I’ve been so blown away with their new fall products coming in October 2012, including the new Maestro foundation & these Eyes To Kill 4 Color Eyeshadow Palettes… so I decided to do a look based on my favorite palette, the 01 Maestro quad. A classic smoky eye, this palette makes it effortless. I love the fact there are two satin and two matte shades- it gives just the right amount of balance!

Looking at the palette, I used the mid-tone silver (2nd shade) all over the lid, then worked the cool mid-tone grey (3rd shade) into the outer 1/2 of my eyelid, and blending it up a little past my crease.  I used the darkest grey (4th shade) to deepen the outer corner, a little into the crease and under the eye. Lastly, I used the brightest silver (1st shade) to highlight the inner corner of my eye.  I topped it off with black eyeliner, mascara and corner lashes. I decided to pair the look with a soft, natural-looking blush and nude lip. I wish I had somewhere to go right now, besides the grocery store!
