The two shades I have include By Design, a soft, shimmering beige and Smash Hit, a sheer golden sparkle. MAC always makes incredible lipsticks, and these two definitely hold their own.
By Design is a Frost texture, which gives it a metallic, reflective sheen. It’s a very interested shade, because while it is beige, it looks almost taupe on the lips. While I don’t think I’ll be reaching for it a lot, it is quite nice and I think it would make a great nude lipstick for some skin tones. It wears comfortably for a few hours and applies really nicely too.
Smash Hit is a Dazzle texture; it reminds me of those sparkle ‘top-coat’ eyeshadows, only for lips. It’s a sheer lipstick that really just deposits glitter on the lips. It’s slightly gritty, with a patchy application, but it’s meant to be that way. I think it looks beautiful on its own if you’re going for a bit of sparkle, but it would also be great to top off any other lip color or stain for some extra shimmer. Even after the lipstick wears off (which doesn’t take long) the glitter lingers on lips for hours.
I can’t say that either of these shades are must-have material, but I think they are pretty good- as long as you’re into frost and shimmer!

These two lipsticks are fairly good quality, but nothing super exciting. I like how By Design is a unique shade of beige with almost a taupe undertone- it's very frosty though! Smash Hit is a like a glitter top coat for lips... it's super sheer and incredibly glittery, but as long as you know what you're in for, I think it would make for some pretty beautiful looks.
