This product was launched earlier this year, so if you regretted missing out on it back then, you’re in luck now! This one features the metallic rose gold packaging with RiRi’s signature on the compact and embossed into the powder as well. The powders are split asymmetrically, which I like because typically we use more bronzer than blush, so this product has a better chance of getting used up evenly.
The bronzer is a matte neutral bronze, and I must say I’m quite in love with it! It has great pigmentation, blends smoothly on the skin and looks very natural without any orange at all. It’s buildable as well, so you really can get a soft glow or an intense bronzed (or contoured) look if you want. I wish this bronzer formula and shade was permanent, because it’s probably one of the best, most natural-looking that I’ve seen from MAC.
The blush is a bright, coral pink with a slight sheen to it. When I first swatched it, there was next to no color payoff at all. I was pretty confused, because typically MAC blushes are awesome, and especially one that looks this bold in the pan should have amazing pigmentation. It almost felt like there was a film on top of the blush, and when I took a spatula and scraped off a bit, then I found the blush I was looking for. It’s a beautiful shade that looks lovely on the skin, but it takes a little work to get to it (and you’ll probably have to scrape up your powder so it won’t be as pretty anymore). I checked out other reviews, and a few other people seemed to have this issue too… so I don’t think it’s just my product. I also found the thin strip at the bottom a little hard to get, even with a small blush brush. It’s possible, but I felt like it was a little too cumbersome for a product that is supposed to be convenient.
I think this blush duo works, especially because the bronzer is so fantastic… but you’ll have to put in a little effort (and scraping) to reveal the quality blush worth using.

The bronzer is fantastic- buildable, smooth and blendable with a very natural-looking undertone. The blush needed a little scraping to reveal the pigmented powder underneath, and it was a little cumbersome to pick up on a brush. Overall this product isn't too bad, but requires a little more work than I expected for a convenient 2-in-1.
