These lacquers are so pretty and feminine! I love the color range in the collection, and especially these two shades here in Sweet Pop, a peachy cream, and Ke Ai, a frosted soft pink.
Sweet Pop is absolutely gorgeous- it went on a little streaky on the first coat, but after the second coat it had a beautiful, even full-coverage color. I have seen this color around quite a bit this summer, so I know it’s going to be a hot one!
Ke Ai is absolutely stunning in the bottle, and I really was crossing my fingers for this one. It’s not bad, but it’s really sheer. After two coats, it was still sheer and the texture was a little too thick to do more coats. It’s pretty, but just know that it’s sheer so you’ll only be getting a hint of soft pink. The cool shimmer in it is really beautiful too though. I’m pretty torn on this one… I like it, but it’s not super great.
The texture of these polishes seemed a little bit more thick than usual- not so much that it was difficult to use, but just something that I noticed. MAC Nail Lacquers typically last 2-3 days on me without chipping, which is about average. I would definitely love to see the other shades in person, because from the promo photos, they all looked fantastic and beautiful for Summer!
