Marcelle Multi-Color Face Powder in Luminous Veil

Published On November 21, 2011 | Daily Beauty

We all know I love a good multi-tasking product…and this Marcelle Mutli-Color Face Powder in Luminous Veil ($16.95 CDN) that I received from the Annabelle/Marcelle Spring 2012 event does just that!  I use the 2nd strip for eyeshadow along with a bit of the 4th strip in the outer corner, then I use the bottom 3 blended together as blush and top it off with the top two mixed together as a highlighter.  It’s really convenient and the finish is really gorgeous.  I would say it as a light-to-medium sheen, more subtle then say Benefit High Beam but it definitely gives a nice glow to your complexion! A great dupe (albeit much LESS shimmery) for Bobbi Brown’s famous shimmer bricks!

Jessica, have you tried the MEMEME’s Shimmer Stack ? It’s also a great dupe for the Bobbie Brown’s Shimmer Bricks. It’s also less than the price of Marcelle :)

I haven’t!!! Where can it be purchased?

      • arian santos

It’s a UK brand, sold at superdrug or stores that sells inexpensive makeup. But here is the website of MeMeMe http://www.mememecosmetics.co.uk/ . I’m not sure if they ship outside UK, I only bought mine from an online seller here in Asia.

This looks so pretty! Very multi-tasking too! Is this only sold in Canada? I’ve never heard of the brand, but that doesn’t mean anything :)

This looks really nice, especially for those that aren’t into super shimmery face products.

I love multi-tasking products too and this one has great colours.

This seems like an awesome. I love Bobbi Brown’s shimmer brick but it’s so pricey ! Definitely going to look into this and MeMeMe!

I know, plus sometimes I think it is TOO shimmery. I know, I know…it’s called a “shimmer brick”…but still. haha!

I’m not sure how these colors may come off on brown skin…BB’s shimmer bricks gave just the right amount of color and shimmer

These look really cute. I’ve always found that Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks were a little too glitter-bomb for my taste so this would be lovely. Plus it’s a mini Naked palette too. Major score!
