Our Maybelline Kiss & Tell Photo (we are both wearing Maybelline Super Stay 14 Hr Lipstick in Eternal Rose)

Yesterday I headed off to Toronto to spend the day with my great friend, Ashton, and attend a couple cool events. First we stopped by the Luminato Festival, where Maybelline had a tent set up and we got to play with lipstick, take some photos and have a great time chatting with the team.  I didn’t carry around my huge DSLR, so bare with the Instagram photos instead :)

We also stopped by Earl’s for lunch and oh my goodness it was delicious! If you’re in the area, check it out- the grilled chicken and brie sandwich is phenomenal!

The makeup artists’ tables- check out all that Maybelline makeup!

Later that night we got all dolled up and headed off to the Scotiabank Theatre for a VIP event with Benefit Cosmetics!

The night started out with cocktails, champagne and desserts (cute little mini cupcakes to be exact), and some fun time in the Glamouriety Photobooth (we had way too much fun with the feather boas and retro glasses props)!

In the lounge… so many “Benebabes” as they liked to call us :)

Then we headed off to the theatre, where popcorn bags and drinks were awaiting us (man, I wish it was like that all the time), and we got to see a screening of Glamouriety, a fun twist on a traditional documentary (c’mon, its Benefit we’re talking about here) about the founders Jean and Jane Ford, as well as the history of some of the key products from Benefit.

Popcorn already waiting for us? Movie theatres should always do that!

I’m sure you can get a feel for the film just by watching the trailer (I must admit I’m quite the fan of Dr. Feelgood)…

We had a fantastic time, so thank you so much to Benefit for inviting us! If you want to see some more clips of the film, check out their website!
