I have a soft spot for beautifully-sculpted powders like the new Milani Rose Powder Blush ($6.49 USD), shown here in Bella Rosa. This product looks particularly luxurious for a drugstore product, which is probably why it sold out in a heartbeat online (check your local retailers- they may still have a few on hand)!
This limited edition blush comes in four beautiful, rose-inspired shades and it looks just as pretty on the cheeks as it does in the pan!
This particular shade is a beautiful light rose pink- it’s the lightest out of the four, but it still looks quite universally flattering. The powder is super finely milled so it blends beautifully into the skin. Although it looked a little chalky to me when I swatched it on my arm, it was nearly undetectable on my cheeks when I blended it in nicely. The texture is also really beautiful- it looks natural and has a satin finish to it so it gives vitality to your complexion without any sparkle or shimmer.
It offers sheer-to-medium coverage color, which is what I like to see in a blush- I want it to deposit enough color to be seen right away, but I also want it to be fool-proof so I don’t over-apply. I think it would show up well enough on fair and light skin tones, but medium to deep skin tones might not find it to have enough pigmentation. Unfortunately it didn’t last all day on me, so I would recommend wearing a primer or even a cream blush first to lock it in place! It’s still a great blush at an amazing price, so hopefully you can snatch one if you find them!
