I’ve been using this product for quite a while now, and my interest was first sparked when seeing Mistura appear on Dragons’ Den- a Canadian TV show where small businesses compete for investments and this company actually got a deal with one of my favourites! Since then, they’ve been doing well as they are now popping up in Sears, Rexall/PharmaPlus drugstores as well as online.

I’ve been wearing this product pretty much everyday (when I’m not testing out a new product) because it is so easy and really looks beautiful.  I can’t really say that I ‘replace’ my concealer with this product because I do need to color correct dark under eye circles and blemishes, but it certainly helps to give an airbrushed finish, a healthy glow and an overall better complexion.

The price point is a bit high, but for 12g of product this would definitely last a really, really long time (just for reference, it is a little bit more then a Benefit Boxed Powder which has 11g).  I love the fact it can also be used on lips and eyes- I don’t do this a lot, but if you’re traveling or need to do your makeup in a pinch, then it would definitely come in handy.

Mistura offers this product in a variety of sets- you can buy the compact alone, with a brush, or in their “complete” kit with a moisturizer and lip balm as well.  I definitely suggest the one with the brush because I like it, but if you really just want to try out the product and you have enough brushes then buying the refill alone would be ideal. I’ve also seen this product go on sale at the drugstore and on deal sites like Team Buy in the past.
