I really like to play with color theory, so I was intrigued by this concealer corrector quad from Morgan’s Boutique ($9.99) . Unfortunately (and this is like the only time I’ll ever say this)- the colours were TOO pigmented.
When it comes to color correction, I feel like the product needs to be a dense, dry cream (like MAC Studio Finish concealer), pigmented but not so much that you see the color instead of simply correcting the discolouration. I wanted to love this quad, but as you can see by the swatches- they are just too creamy and pigmented. I have tried mixing a tiny bit in with my regular concealer and that helps a LOT….but on its own, its too much. As a mixing base, I’m a huge fan though. Add a bit of the yellow to help conceal blemishes and a bit of the pink to under eye concealer.
