My New Year's Resolutions (With A Little Help from Rodial)

Every year, I make the same New Year’s Resolutions… I want to eat healthier, exercise more, reduce stress, sleep more… you know, the works. Some people are against New Year’s Resolutions, but I embrace them. I see each new year as a tabula rasa, a clean slate. It may not mean much, but it gives me the motivation I need when I can’t find it elsewhere… so, once again, I make the same resolutions to become a better, healthier, stronger and happier me.

I think that the two most important factors to successful resolutions is to make them attainable, and not to beat yourself up about it if you break them. Instead of giving up entirely, stick to it and always remember that tomorrow is a new day.  I’m starting the 30 Day Shred (my favorite workout videos because it is quick, effective and challenging- but not impossible), I want to cook more from scratch and get on a decent sleeping schedule.

I am going to cheat a little on project body makeover… with a little help from Rodial. I’ve heard some great things about the body care line, and I have tried the cheaper sister brand Nip + Fab in the past… but I can’t help but wonder if splurging on the original formulas is worth it. So, in addition to regular exercise and eating healthy, I’m going to incorporate a few of their body care products into my routine. I’m not going to be doing before & after photos… because to me, this isn’t about that. This is about how I feel. It’s all about confidence… so if something makes you feel better, feel happier, feel prettier… then I’m all for it, even if the results aren’t measurable or noticeable to anyone but you. It’s also going to take a long time to notice results or get a feel for if and how the products are working- so I’ll follow-up in the Spring with my experience (just in time for some bikini-body makeovers).
