New this season from Ed Hardy come two Skulls & Roses Fragrances; one for him and one for her, with each bottle featuring the unique and ghostly interpretations of Ed Hardy’s infamous skulls & roses tattoos. Ed Hardy partnered with Elizabeth Arden to launch these two fragrances, which reflect the striking nature and contemporary styles associated with the apparel brand. The Skulls & Roses fragrances were inspired by the strength, confidence and passion of today’s young men and women.
For Him
The Men’s Eau de Toilette, the black skull, features bergamot, candamom and violet top notes, lavandin, geranium and ozone mid notes as well as amber, sandalwood, moss and musk base notes. I personally enjoy the men’s fragrance the most out of the two (not that I would wear it… but just that I like it a lot). It definitely smells like a fragrance for a younger man; something I feel like I would find at Abercrombie & Fitch or in an Axe bottle (but a little more sophisticated).
For Her
The Women’s Eau de Parfum, the white skull, features top notes of strawberry, violet and pink grapefruit, with mid notes of honeysuckle, magnolia and daisy as well as base notes of caramel, vanilla and white musk. This one has a long going on… it’s a combination of sweet, fruity and floral (usually I just like to stick to one). It reminds me of something I’d smell from Tokidoki (or something that I have already smelled from them; the brand pops up in my mind when I smell it).
Available in 7.5mL, 75mL and 100mL bottles (MSRP $18 CAD, $62 CAD and $80 CAD respectively) now at Shoppers Drug Mart and will also be coming to Sephora and other various drugstores this December 2012.
