NYFW Day 2: Behind the Scenes @ MADE

Published On September 11, 2011 | Fashion

My evening at Milk Studios was fantastic.  I was truly blown away by Billy Reid, a designer that I really hadn’t heard much of until I got here.  His designs were so elegant and gorgeous- long, flowy pieces with a rustic/natural feel.  I was drawn to pretty much every outfit he put together and I was so in love with the set-up of the presentation I had to take a photo to show what it looked like from my perspective.

Next door, Butter London was doing free mini manicures and while I didn’t have the time to wait to get mine done (although I did chat it up with two lovely ladies), I was happy to see a Butter London nail polish in Yummy Mummy in my gift bag- a shade I’ve been lusting after for a long time now. Can’t wait to try it out- if only I remembered to bring nail polish remover to NYFW.
