Today was my first time visiting the American Express VIP Lounge at MADE and I must say, I truly felt like a VIP myself! there were drinks and food and even a hairstylist and massage therapist after the show to give makeovers and massages (I couldn’t resist a little help getting the knots out of my shoulders and boy did it feel fantastic)! We were able to get a sneak peek of the makeup and hair being done behind the scenes before the show started which was great- I loved seeing the use of bright, bold colour (which we learned afterwards from Jeremy himself was meant to represent the sunrise over the desert, which was the inspiration for the actual clothing).
The show was also great- the clothes were very simple, pretty and followed along with the seemingly popular trend of loose, flowy fabrics, long length and pairing with wedges. I must say I’m quite in love with this trend too! It looks comfortable while still being stylish and feminine. Meeting the Canadian-native designer along with the rest of the AMEX cardholders was a very exciting experience (my first time actually meeting a designer); the cherry on the top of a great show and VIP treatment!
