I have really fallen in love with synthetic brushes all over again- the technology is cosmetics has really advanced allowing for improved functionality and quality over the last few years. Because you wouldn’t be able to tell they are synthetic at all.

OCC, a leader in vegan cosmetics, has created a beautiful line up of 100% synethic, vegan and cruelty-free makeup brushes that look and perform better than natural hair brushes.  They are so soft, you wouldn’t believe they were synthetic at first!

Gorgeous white handles

The entire collection features 12 makeup brushes for eyes, face and lips. The powder and eyeshadow brushes look, feel and perform just like natural hair- it’s really amazing! The foundation, concealer and eyeliner brushes work just like strong, synthetic brushes usually do. They wash well, maintain their shape and are amongst some of the most durable brushes I’ve ever used.

The handles are beautiful- sleek, white, simplistic.  They have a gorgeous, professional look to them and they are sitting right at my makeup table, where I use them each day now.  I would have liked to see either an angled or blush brush in the collection, because the “small powder” brush they do have is a little too dense for cheek color. I also wish the brushes would have their name/use printed on the handle itself.

I hope they plan to expand the line of brushes! They can be quite pricey, as each brush will run you between $18 USD to $28 USD (but thankfully OCC does have a Pro program, and they feature discounts at IMATS shows).
