In tandem with the gallons of green juice being guzzled by wellness-seekers, we’ve seen more and more ingestible beauty products launching lately. Think: elixirs, pills and powders promising skin and hair benefits that start on the inside.
We always perk up our ears at the mention of these things because, over our years of interviewing celebrity hairstylists, one recommendation they make over and over again is to take hair supplements (apparently, many of the A-listers do).
Now, the makers of One A Day multivitamins are joining the beauty game with Priorin, which helps stimulate hair growth. In addition to biotin (a type of vitamin B commonly found in such products), Priorin capsules also contain an extract from millet (a type of grain) and calcium pantothenate (a form of vitamin B5), which boosts hair cells’ metabolic activity. They also pack the amino acid L-cystine, which is a component of keratin (the protein that makes up your strands).
Priorin helps to promote hair growth and re-growth, and can be taken to help maintain your healthy and beautiful hair.
Like with any hair supplement, patience is key. The Priorin regimen involves taking two capsules per day (with food) for three to six months. It’s suitable for long term use, so you can easily incorporate it into your daily routine.
