I used to shampoo my hair every single day, and I thought that because my hair got greasy so easily that I had no other choice! However, it was the other way around- my hair was greasy because I was shampooing every day!

I made an effort to go 2-3 days in-between shampoos, so dry shampoo has become my best friend on 2nd or 3rd day hair. It freshens up my coif without stripping it, so now my hair doesn’t get nearly as greasy as it used to! I use it every second or third day, depending on the look i’m going for and the style I’m trying to create. My new best friend? Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo- it smells great and I get insane volume from it!

    I usually use it on my second day hair. I work in a hair salon, so I try to go 2-3 days before I wash my hair. Dry shampoos are definitely a life saver in between shampoos!

    These dry shampoos look great! I need to look for them most definitely! I shampoo my hair every other day, therefore use dry shampoo on the alternate day. for years I used to shampoo my hair every day, but then I heard on YouTube that you could “train” your hair to be less oily, so I tried that theory out, and let me say that for 2 weeks of the “training”, myself (and those around me) suffered! What I learned from that lesson is that at least for me, it is not possible! LOL ;) I could, however, get away with waiting on the third day, if I opted to use even more dry shampoo & put my hair up into an up-do or wear a hat, but alas, I am just too lazy and have found this every other day approach to work well for me and my oily scalp. :) Haha! Happy you have been able to find your magic number in regard to how often you have to shampoo! I envy you! :) Okay, okay, I just admire you! ;)

    I try to use Dry Shampoo more but it doesn’t really work well with my hair… I have oily scalp =(… at least I haven’t found that it works very well… Especially in the summer! But I really need to find that Batiste one cuz I liked it a lot when I tried it
