There once was a day when I thought $10 was too much to spend on a lipstick… and then there was the day I coughed up $40 for one. It’s funny how things change over time, and how your perspective on what constitutes an expensive product can be so different from someone else’s view!

My first big beauty splurge was for an Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Sheer Candy Glossy Balm ($30 USD / $38 CAD), and it wasn’t even too long ago. Of course, since then, it’s become an addiction and it’s not so hard to shell out that cash anymore.
