Q&A: What’s One Look You Regret Wearing?

Ummm pretty much every makeup look I did before I was 16? I just had no idea what I was doing…. but there’s one in particular, when I really started getting curious about makeup, I wore bright blue eyeshadow and deep raspberry lipstick when I was in middle school. I must have looked like Mimi! That’s definitely a “what on earth were you thinking, Jessica?!” time period.

    I regret that in middle school foundation was all pink based and I am yellow toned so it never looked right.

    I regret that until a few years ago I wore bronzer all over my face, so you could see the difference between my face and my neck. Not a very nice look!

    I regret the natural eyebrow look in highschool. I am so thankful I learned about filling my brows in. I used to think I didnt need too. And I was wrong.

    When I was 13/14 I got this glittery blue tinted lip balm and proudly wore it till my mum smacked me on the head :p

    I remember one time junior year, I went to class with a teal smokey eye and some really pink lips, I thought I did an amazing job but looking back I think I looked way too dressed up for a day at school… -__-

    One I wore about a week ago. Did my makeup under fluorescent lighting and it looked HORRIBLE. My boyfriend even mentioned how I looked … gasp … weird. Too much foundation around the nasal area, waay too much blush and weirdly smudged eyeshadow! Never ever doing my makeup in fluorescent light ever again!

    I took my mom’s foundation when I was about 15 years old and put it on for a party … the problem is, my mom’s about two shades lighter than I am. Not my best look.

    I wore too much blush and did NOT blend it, must have looked like a clown, oh well, funny thing is no one told me! hahaha But know I know better! That’s the beautiful part! :)

    Hummm I regret using a flat white eyeshadow and a matte black on the crease not blended at all (think Egyptian). I wore it for graduation. To sum it up, I should have known better… And now I have to look at those photos forever… Oh well…

    I wore too many colors of eyeshadow at once to school…im talking purples greens and blues with a tad of pink hahahahah!!

    I regret wearing one look that may even be considered a trend: bold fuchsia lipstick with nude eyes. Maybe my skin is too pale to follow that trend…

    In middle school I used a foundation that was too dark for about 2 years, I applied foundation on my lips to get “nude” lips, and all I wore on my eyes was tons of black eyeliner cuz I wanted to be like Avril Lavigne. I regret all three of those things lol.

    When I was in high school,dark brown and wine/burgundy lipstick was the trend. That would be what I regret. >.<
