Quick Tip For Eye Makeup With Glasses

If you wear glasses, feel free to skip the eyeshadow! Concentrate on lining your eyes (make it a little more thick than usual) and plumping up those lashes (curled first, of course).  Don’t forget to fill in your brows to frame your frames!  Also, remember that a pair of glasses are the best under eye concealer after a late night!

Apply primer (or focus extra primer) on the bridge of your nose. Many times my foundation has slipped under the bridge of my glasses, so I make sure to focus primer there, then pat in a little extra setting powder for added protection.

I like to put a sweep of shimmery neutral eye shadow on my top lids, and then add a really bright and fun colour of eye shadow on the bottom lashes. :)

Because glasses tends to tone down eye looks, I like to do smokey eyes in the day time (it won’t look too overpowering) or play a little with color since it’s not going to be too in your face behind the glasses yet fun especially for summer time.

I find the best thing to do when wearing glasses, is highlighting your inner corners and brow bone. I like to use LORAC’s On Screen Duo in Champagne and Caviar to brighten up my eyes. It’s not too shimmery, but it looks really nice (even by itself).

I’m myopic and my glasses tends to make my eyes smaller. So I can get away w/ doing a dramatic eye and having heavy hand with the eyeliner. I avoid wearing faux lashes though. It gets in the way of my lenses. It’s also a good thing I wear a simple titanium frames. My glasses does not overwhelm my face.
