Quick Tip for Instant Volume

If there’s one battle I fight daily, it’s getting a little life into my locks. Limp, long and lifeless, my hair hangs straight down, flat to my head. All the spray and mousse just can’t get it to stay big…but I found my secret weapon- the Got2b Powderful Volumizing Styling Powder (check out its magic here). It works in about 10 seconds, giving huge, voluminous locks with little effort. Just shake a bit of powder into your hands and work it into the roots. I find teasing makes it even MORE massive. Granted, the product makes your hair feel a bit weird- but the results are worth it.

    I have the big sexy hair version of this and as much as I love the results, I just cant get over the feeling It gives my hair. :-/ it builds up and feels gross. Do you have the dame problem?

    Definitely going to have to try this one – I have super thick, but super fine hair – it’s always completely flat at the roots, but gets all puffy and terrible around my ears when I use volumizers! I can deal with grubby texture in exchange for Bardot style roots, so I’m in! For everyday I like the Aveda Volumizing Tonic – you need to use a lot, but if you spray it under your locks at the root, it makes it feel light but still gives a bit of lift!

    I’m not sure if I should have my comment here instead of with the other post. Just in case, I’ll rewrite it to maximize the chances you see my questions:

    Is this something you can use instead of Dry Shampoo? Have you ever used it with dry shampoo? — i.e. one to get rid of the greasies, and the other to deal with volume?

    I am a volume fanatic! I wash my hair with Aveda volumizing shampoo and conditioner, put in Aveda phomollient (mousse) and spray my roots with Aveda volumizing tonic then blow dry it under with a round brush. They are pricey products but the only ones that really work for me. I’ve tried others but they always weigh my hair down or make it greasy.

    Another good hairspray with real hold is Joico JoiMist Firm and doesn’t leave to much of a film either.
