This review is going to be super quick because I already did a pretty extensive review here when I first tried out the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters (About $7) in Lollipop and Cupcake. I fell so in love with them that I went out and purchased two more, Creme Brulee and Tutti Frutti! So here are my thoughts about them…
The Packaging
I really love the faux-quilted pattern on the tube covers, it looks elegant and adds a little bit of design without being too much. I also really like how the tops of them are clear, so you can see through to the lip butter from above (for example, if you have a storage system where all your lip products are standing up). The tubes themselves are a reflective silver and the product twists up (with the tip angled, similar to my beloved MAC Sheen Supreme Lipsticks).
The Product
Each lip butter provides a sheer to medium coverage color with a nice glossy sheen. They go on smoothly (but be careful, light colours enhance chapped/flaky lips) and feel comfortable and hydrating. They really have next to no staying power though, because they transfer right off at the slightest touch (be it clothes, glasses, etc) which is a bit of a disappointment, but the pros outweigh the cons for these products. They have the very faintest scent of vanilla.
Creme Brulee
Creme Brulee is a gorgeous mid-tone nude with a warm undertone. It makes my lips look really full and is a great lip color to go with pretty much any look because of how universal it is!
Tutti Frutti
Tutti Frutti is a bold coral orange in the tube, but really comes off as just plain orange on the lips. It took a bit of courage to pull this one off, but you can definitely wear it a little more sheer if you just want a hint of juicy color and shine.
After the product wears off, I do feel my lips a little bit more dry… the products feels really comfortable when its on, but it definitely does not leave a hydrating effect.

Summary
- Price: $7.49 USD / $8.99 CDN
- Availability: Drugstore.com (US) and Well.ca (CDN) as well as various drugstores
- Overall: Two more awesome colours to one of the best drugstore lip products I’ve ever come across! Revlon really struck gold with these lip butters! They transfer easily, but the color payoff, beautiful sheen and inexpensive price tag make them well worth it.
- Rating: A+
