Available in 12 gorgeous shades ranging from light to deep, these are definitely the hot new product of the summer. They smell like peppermint (which is actually slightly unexpected- I would have preferred a fruity or sweet scent, but it doesn’t linger long so that’s okay), and glide on like a lip butter.  Instead of sharpening, they simply twist up to reveal new product.

The lighter shades are a sheer to medium coverage, while the deeper shades (like this one in Crush) are medium to full coverage- all shades are buildable though, so just lightly sweep it on for a hint of colour, or pile it on for full coverage colour.  The shine lasts about 1-2 hours, but the colour lasts much longer. It fades from the inside out, especially after eating.

I love the fact these products are in a pencilform- no need for a lip liner!  It also makes them super portable and purse-friendly.

• Overall: A total must-have! These new lip balm stains are comfortable, pigmented, long-wearing and they are super portable!  I love the fact I don’t need a lip liner, and that the coverage is awesome. I do wish the scent was different, but it doesn’t liner long. If you can find them in stores- be sure to try them out!
